Coal Oil Point Reserve Docent-Led Tour – Sat, Dec 6th: Take a two-hour tour guided by a trained docent through Coal Oil Point’s eight ecosystems, from the sandy beach to Devereux Slough to a restored coastal dune system. Learn about the Reserve’s cultural history and its current restoration projects. Volunteer Planting Day with Channel Islands Restoration and SB Zoo – Sat, Dec 13th: Help restore wild bird habitat in one of the most scenic spots in Santa Barbara. Join Channel Islands Restoration (CIR) and plant native flora along the Andree Clark Bird Refuge restoration site. After volunteering, all participants will receive free admission to the Santa Barbara Zoo!
