Group_Circle_OrientationThe 2014-2015 school year is coming up quick! The Bren School is proud to welcome 89 new MESM students that will serve as the Class of 2016, along with 17 incoming PhD students!

A reception to celebrate the beginning of another year for Bren will be held on Decker’s Deck on the first day of classes, Thursday, October 2nd, 4:30 – 6:30 pm for new and current students to mingle and get to know faculty and staff.

With the start of this school year, we also welcome some new faculty and staff:

Mark Buntaine— Mark has taught classes at Bren in the past, but is now starting as a permanent faculty member. His research is in International Relations and Environmental Policy.

Alisan Amrhein— Alisan (MESM 2014) began working for Bren’s Development team this summer. Her work will involve outreach and communications, donor relations, and fundraising efforts for Bren.

We are all very excited for the new school year to begin and to meet the new Brennies!
