Earth Day Festival with Bren and UCSB!

UCSB shows a unified presence at the Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival as they celebrate numerous environmental awards, including being recognized as the greenest public university nationwide. Organized by  Bren School’s Assistant Dean for Development, Andrew Krupa, the Bren School and UCSB have collaborated to showcase leadership in environmental education, research, and sustainability. The UCSB tent will feature the Bren School and its Eco-Entrepreneurship ventures, highlight various initiatives and programs for sustainability on campus, and have representatives from UCSB’s various environmental research groups.

Santa Barbara’s Earth Day Festival is hosted by the Community Environmental Council (CEC). This is a fun, educational, and FREE event in Alameda Park (downtown Santa Barbara). The live music, exciting demonstrations, and delicious food and drink will make for a great weekend.

When: Saturday, April 18th from 11:00am – 7:00pm

Sunday, April 19th from 11:00am – 6:00pm

Where: Alameda Park Plaza downtown Santa Barbara (East Sola and Santa Barbara Street)
